INTAKE YEAR 2024-2025:
REGISTRATION FOR THE CONFIRMATION PROGRAM OPENS FROM AUGUST 1 2024. and CLOSES ON September 10th 2024.
REGISTRATION IS STRICTLY VIA ONLINE. DO NOT CALL CHURCH OFFICE FOR REGISTRATION.

The CCD CONFIRMATION Programme caters to EXPATRIATE children enrolled in International Schools.

For the sacrament of Confirmation, candidates who are minimum 13 years old by Sept 1st and in Grade 8 or above are eligible to register.

PARENTS have to attend a MANDATORY ORIENTATION MEETING (POM) on Sunday 22nd September 2024 at 3pm, St ignatius Hall.

Absent parents will be required to meet with our Parish Priest or Confirmation Coordinator before their child's enrolment is accepted.

After the Mandatory Parents meeting - parents are to submit all documents (via email or via post, copies of Baptism and First Holy Communion certificates, signed Confirmation Contract, and $350 fee.

Please have a copy of your child's Baptism and First Holy Communion records before you proceed with registration.

NOTE: A RED ASTERISK (*) INDICATES MANDATORY INFORMATION. Failure to provide the required information will cause the registration to be rejected and will inform you to go back to find missing information on the registration.

Confirmation Classes are held on SUNDAYS ONLY. No Classes on Thursdays.
CLASS TIMES:
• Sunday Confirmation class starts at 3:30 pm and ends at 5:20 pm.

In consideration of expatriate family relocation possibilities, the Archbishop of Catholic Archdiocese, Singapore has given permission for the CCD Confirmation Programme to be specially structured to be completed in 9 months from September to May. CCD Students are therefore expected to maintain 100% attendance to the sessions (set by Singapore Archdiocese), so please consider this strict policy with your child before registering.

SACRAMENTAL INFORMATION: BAPTISM
For Confirmation classes, your child must have been baptised in a Catholic Church and have received First Holy Communion.

If your child is not baptized, you will only be able to register for the Grade 7 Pre-Confirmation class. To register, please exit from this registration screen and select the "Registration Form for Kindergarten to Grade 7".

Please enter the full address and email of your child's Church of baptism. Every Catholic has their Confirmation recorded at their Catholic Church of Baptism. Hence our Church will have to send record of your child's Confirmation to his/her Church of Baptism. A copy of your child's baptism certificate will be required.

Note: If your child has been baptized in another Christian denomination AND have not attended a RITE OF RECEPTION into the Catholic Church, please contact the Confirmation Coordinator for clarification/arrangements.

SACRAMENTAL INFORMATION: FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Note: For Confirmation classes, your child must have received First Holy Communion in order to participate in the preparation for the sacraments. A copy of your child’s FHC certificate (or other proof) will be required.

If your child has NOT received FHC, you may register for the Grade 7 Pre-Confirmation class. The child will be prepared for the sacraments and receive their First Holy Communion in May. To register, please exit from this registration screen and select the “Registration Form for Kindergarten to Grade 7”.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS OF CONFIRMATION CHILDREN
NOTE: All parents of Confirmation candidates are required to commit to at least one committee involved in running the program. In addition, parents may be asked to chaperone Community Service activities with their children.

In order to ensure an even spread of parent volunteers across the committees, you will be asked to select another committee to help in if the target number in your first choice committee has been reached.

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS and PAYMENT OF FEES
Your child will be enrolled after the parents' compulsory attendance at the Parents Orientation Meeting for Confirmation and the submission of the 5 documents as indicated below. Notification of your child's enrollment will be sent through a "Confirmation Enrollment" email. Please check each box to indicate your completion or agreement.

Cross the cheque (draw 2 lines across the top-left hand corner) and write clearly on the back of the cheque: CCD-Confrimation, the name of your child, your name and contact number.

Refer to the Church/CCD website www.stignatius.org.sg/ccd for preparation and specimen of a Singapore cheque.
